  • You have a blood cancer like leukemia or lymphoma
  • You are scheduled for an umbilical cord blood transplant
  • If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control for one year
  • You have not had a prior stem cell or organ transplant
  • You do not have an uncontrolled infection, HIV, or active hepatitis B or C
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
