Who can take part

  • You must have a blood cancer, such as leukemia, lymphoma, or multiple myeloma.
  • You will be receiving a stem cell transplant from a half-matched family donor (usually a parent, child, or sibling).
  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You must agree to be randomly assigned to one of the treatment groups and follow the study schedule.
  • You cannot have had a stem cell transplant before.
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
