Who can take part

  • You are between 8 and 30 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with a type of nasopharyngeal cancer that is linked to the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV).
  • Your cancer is at stage I, II, III, or IVA (not widely spread).
  • You are scheduled to start radiation therapy with the goal of curing your cancer.
  • You have not had this cancer come back (recur), and you have not had another cancer linked to EBV in the past.
  • You have not received radiation therapy before, and you are able to have an MRI without needing sedation or anesthesia.
