Who can take part
- Be 18 to 70 years old and sign consent
- Have newly diagnosed, biopsy-confirmed nasopharyngeal cancer that is non-keratinizing type
- Have locally advanced stage disease (T3–4, or N0–3 with specific AJCC staging) and an EBV DNA level above 0 before treatment
- Have not received any cancer treatments yet after diagnosis (beyond the study’s standard timing)
- Have good blood counts, liver, and kidney function on screening tests
- If you have hepatitis B or hepatitis C, specific blood tests must be controlled or negative; also use reliable birth control if you could become pregnant
