Who can take part

  • You are 65 years or older
  • You have mild to moderate memory or thinking problems before surgery
  • You are having a non-heart, non-brain surgery under general anesthesia that will last more than 2 hours
  • You expect to be in the hospital for at least 5 days after surgery
  • You do not have severe brain or mental health conditions, epilepsy, or metal implants in your head
