- 18 years old or older
- First-ever stroke (ischemic or bleeding) in a hemisphere or brainstem
- Thinking or memory problems from the stroke
- Able to do a simple memory computer task (n-back)
- Enrolled within 10 weeks after your stroke
- No metal or electronic implants in your head/neck and no history of epilepsy
