Who can take part
- You are of Hispanic ethnicity and live in Puerto Rico.
- You are between 21 and 75 years old.
- You have a fatty liver condition (MASLD) confirmed by a special scan (FibroScan) showing a CAP score of 248 or higher.
- You have not had more than 3 drinks a day (men) or 2 drinks a day (women) for 3 months or more in the past year.
- You have not had a liver transplant or been on a transplant list, and you do not have hepatitis B, C, or HIV.
- You have not taken antibiotics in the last 14 days.
