Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 60 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or less.
- You are in good general health or have only mild health problems (ASA I or II).
- Your surgery is expected to last less than 3 hours.
- You do not have any allergy to ketamine or dexmedetomidine.
- You do not have severe bleeding (hemorrhagic shock) or a history of alcohol/drug abuse.
- You have no history of brain, nerve, or mental health conditions.
- You do not have advanced kidney, liver, or heart problems.
