Who can take part

  • You have chronic shoulder or knee pain that has lasted more than 3 months.
  • You have tried medicines, physical therapy, or injections and they haven't helped enough.
  • You have osteoarthritis in your knee, frozen shoulder, or a tendon/ligament problem confirmed by exam or ultrasound.
  • You are not pregnant, do not have a bleeding disorder, and have no signs of infection or tumor near the painful joint.
  • You are not allergic to contrast dye used in CT scans.
