Who can take part

  • You have major depression and are currently in a depressive episode that has lasted at least two weeks.
  • Your depression has not gotten better after trying at least one antidepressant or brain stimulation treatment.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old and are generally healthy.
  • You are able to stop other talk therapy and avoid certain medications for the study period.
  • You must not be pregnant or nursing, and if you can have children, you agree to use effective birth control.
