  • You are between 30 and 55 years old.
  • You have type 2 diabetes.
  • You were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes within the past year.
  • You do not have other conditions that cause nerve damage, such as vitamin B12 deficiency, thyroid problems, or heavy alcohol use.
