Who can take part
- You have prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer controlled by castration (testosterone below 50 ng/dl).
- Your PSMA PET scan must show PSMA-positive cancer cells, making you a candidate for PSMA-617 therapy.
- You have had only one prior hormone drug (like enzalutamide or abiraterone) for at least 4 weeks, and possibly sipuleucel-T or docetaxel in earlier stages.
- You are physically active enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0 or 1).
- No cancer that has spread to the liver, brain, or the covering of the spinal cord (epidural).
- No treatment with radiation or other experimental drugs in the last 30 days.
- Heart function must be adequate (ejection fraction above 40%) if you have a history of heart problems.
