Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 75 years old
  • You have had a recent (within 6 hours) spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury, or you are a healthy volunteer without any nervous system injury
  • You can give consent (or have a family member or trusted person who can give consent for you)
  • You do not have any other neurological or psychiatric disorder or neurodegenerative disease
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
