Methadone during hysterectomy to reduce pain pills

Fibroid Uterus

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This study tests whether a single dose of methadone given during minimally invasive hysterectomy (for non-cancer reasons) can reduce the need for opioid pain pills after surgery. It aims to see if this approach helps with pain control and lessens opioid use.
