Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have squamous cell carcinoma in your mouth, throat, voice box, or lower throat that can be removed with surgery.
  • You have not received any previous treatment for this cancer.
  • You are in good enough health to undergo surgery and treatment, with normal blood counts and organ function.
  • You do not have active autoimmune disease, serious infections, or unstable heart conditions.
