Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in the mouth, throat, or voice box (oral cavity, oropharynx, hypopharynx, or larynx).
- Your cancer is locally advanced but can be removed with surgery.
- You have not had any previous treatment for this cancer.
- You are in good general health (able to care for yourself, ECOG 0-1) and have adequate organ function.
- You have not received immunotherapy, chemotherapy, or anti-angiogenic therapy before.
- You do not have active autoimmune diseases, active infections (like HIV, hepatitis B or C, tuberculosis), or other cancers (except certain cured ones like basal cell skin cancer or cervical carcinoma in situ).
