Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (AHI score of 15 or higher).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is less than 32.
  • Your airway collapses partly at the tongue base and soft palate (type II obstruction).
  • You have tried or refused other treatments (like CPAP) and they didn't work.

Tongue and mouth exercises for sleep apnea

This study tests if doing specific tongue and mouth exercises can help people with obstructive sleep apnea. If you have sleep apnea and are willing to pause other treatments for 3 months, you may be able to join.
