Who can take part

  • You are 65 years old or older.
  • Your pelvic fracture happened from a low-energy event, like a fall from standing height, or because of weak bones (osteoporosis).
  • You have a break in the back part of the pelvis (sacrum) and also a break in the front pelvic ring.
  • You do not have any other major injuries or fractures.
  • You have not had surgery on your pelvis for a previous fracture.
