Who can take part

  • You have a blocked carotid artery (in your neck) that is at least 50% narrowed if you had symptoms like a mini-stroke, or 70% narrowed without symptoms.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a pulse that can be felt in both your arm and groin area.
  • You understand the study and agree to take part by signing a consent form.
