Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
- You need to have acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that is in complete remission (no signs of leukemia in your blood or bone marrow).
- You must have a brother or sister who is a full match and willing to donate stem cells.
- You should be able to take care of yourself (Karnofsky score of 70 or higher) and have no major heart, liver, kidney, or lung problems.
- Women of childbearing age must have a negative pregnancy test and use birth control for at least one year after transplant. Men must use condoms and not donate sperm for one year after transplant.
- You cannot have other active cancers, HIV, active infections, or serious mental health conditions.
