Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 1 and 17 years old and have acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
  • The leukemia must be in complete remission (no signs of active disease) before the transplant.
  • Your child must have a brother or sister who is a good match for donating stem cells (matched sibling donor).
  • Your child must be in good overall health: able to care for themselves, with normal heart, liver, kidney, and lung function, and no active infections.
