Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have a current diagnosis of major depression.
  • You must have moderate to severe depression symptoms (based on a rating scale or your doctor's judgment).
  • You must either not be taking antidepressants, or be willing to stay on your current antidepressant throughout the study.
  • You must not have active suicidal thoughts, a history of suicide attempts, or drug/alcohol addiction.
