Who can take part

  • You are between 22 and 75 years old.
  • You have a history of high blood pressure and are on or have been on blood pressure medication.
  • Your blood pressure is above 140/90 but below 180/110, or it is below 140/90 while on 1-2 medications.
  • You are willing to stop your blood pressure medications for 4 weeks before and 2 months after the procedure.
  • You have healthy kidneys suitable for the ultrasound procedure.
  • You are willing to undergo conscious sedation for the procedure.
