Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or higher.
  • You have been diagnosed with or are suspected to have NASH-related liver scarring (fibrosis), confirmed by a liver biopsy.
  • You have tried lifestyle changes and non-invasive treatments for at least 3 months without losing enough weight (non-diabetics: less than 5% weight loss; diabetics: less than 3% weight loss).
  • You are not pregnant, do not have cirrhosis, and do not have other major health issues like uncontrolled diabetes, severe heart problems, or recent alcohol or drug abuse.
