Who can take part

  • You had a brain bleed (intraventricular hemorrhage) that caused fluid buildup in the brain.
  • After the bleed improved, you developed new trouble walking, thinking, or bladder control.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You are not taking certain medications (like diltiazem or rifampicin) that could interact with the study drug.
  • You do not have severe liver or kidney problems, active infections, or other conditions that would interfere.

This trial tests whether a special medication given directly into the brain's fluid spaces can prevent fluid buildup (hydrocephalus) after a severe brain bleed. If you've had a severe aneurysm bleed with bleeding into the brain's cavities and already have a drain tube in place, you may be able to join.
