Who can take part
- You’re age 0 to 18 and have a lymphatic malformation in the neck/face or chest
- Your symptoms cause ongoing pain or breathing/swallowing problems, and a scoring test is below 8
- Doctors think the malformation can’t be fully cured (or cure would be too risky)
- Your heart-strength functioning score is high enough: Karnofsky over 50% (age >10) or Lansky over 50% (age ≤10)
- Recent blood tests are adequate (counts for white blood cells, platelets, and hemoglobin; plus liver/bilirubin and albumin levels)
- You can safely take rapamycin with your current medicines (no certain immune-suppressing drugs or drug interactions)
