Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with moderate-to-severe depression (single episode lasting 4 weeks to 2 years, or recurrent).
  • You are currently taking one antidepressant medication at a stable dose for at least the past month, but it hasn't helped enough.
  • You have not tried two or more different antidepressant types that failed (this is for people who haven't had treatment-resistant depression).
  • You have used psychedelics 10 times or fewer in your lifetime and none in the past year.
  • You are not at immediate risk of suicide or self-harm, and you do not have a history of bipolar or psychotic disorders.
