Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You get regular plasmapheresis (blood filtering) treatments at least every 10 days.
  • Your plasmapheresis uses citrate to prevent clotting during treatment.
  • You do not take blood thinners (like warfarin, apixaban, or aspirin).
  • You are not being treated for high cholesterol, high triglycerides, blood thickness, acquired hemophilia, or nephrotic syndrome.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or in another study's exclusion period.
