Who can take part
- You had a stroke caused by a blood clot in the front part of the brain (ischemic anterior circulation stroke).
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You will start the study drug between 5 days and 8 weeks after your stroke.
- You have weakness on one side of your body and are currently in a rehab hospital.
- You have someone who can help you practice daily rehab exercises and drive you to appointments if needed.
- You can understand spoken and written English well enough to follow instructions and give consent.
