Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with autoimmune or viral encephalitis within the last 9 months.
  • For autoimmune types: your symptoms should be new or recently worsened, and you should have started your first acute treatment in the last 6 weeks.
  • You cannot have an untreated tumor in your thymus or ovary (like teratoma) at the time of starting the study.
  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old and willing to use contraception if you are of childbearing age.
  • Your overall health should allow you to safely take part, without recent serious infections, unstable heart conditions, or other major medical problems.
