Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for an elective (planned) surgery and will stay in the hospital for at least 3 nights.
  • You have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
  • You may use a CPAP machine or a mouthpiece (MAD) for sleep apnea, or you may not be using any treatment.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You speak Dutch or English.
  • You are willing to allow the research team to use your medical data for this study.
