Study of C-CAR031 for advanced GPC3-positive liver cancer
Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.
This trial tests a new type of cell therapy called C-CAR031, which is designed to target and attack liver cancer cells that have a protein called GPC3. It is for people with advanced liver cancer who have already tried other treatments and are looking for a new option.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You must have advanced liver cancer (HCC) that has been confirmed by a biopsy or tissue sample.
- Your cancer cells must have a specific protein called GPC3 on their surface, as determined by a special test.
- You must have already tried at least two different types of standard cancer treatments, and they either stopped working or caused unacceptable side effects.
- Your liver function must be relatively good (Child-Pugh score of 6 or less).
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old, and have a performance status (ECOG) of 0 or 1, meaning you are fully active or only limited in strenuous activity.

This trial tests a custom immune-cell treatment (CAR-T) that targets a marker called GPC3 in people with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer). It’s for cases where standard treatments have not worked well, and the goal is to shrink tumors and improve outcomes.
This Phase 1 trial tests the safety and early signs of effectiveness of an “armored” CAR-T cell therapy (C-CAR031) for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer). It may help by teaching the body’s immune cells to better recognize and attack the cancer.
This early-phase study tests modified immune T cells (CAR T cells) to treat hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), a type of liver cancer, when the tumor shows a marker called GPC3. It may help shrink tumors or slow cancer growth, especially after other treatments have stopped working.
This Phase 1 study tests a personalized immune-cell treatment (CAR T cells) for advanced liver cancer that has the GPC3 protein. It aims to see whether these engineered cells can find and kill cancer cells safely and help shrink the cancer.
This early-phase trial tests a personalized CAR-T cell treatment for cancers that make a lot of a protein called GPC3. If you have advanced cancer that has already tried at least one standard treatment, and your tumor has enough GPC3, this study aims to see how well the treatment can shrink tumors and how safe it is.
This trial tests a new type of immunotherapy called CAR T cells that are trained to find and attack cancer cells with a specific marker (GPC3). The CAR T cells are also 'armored' with extra proteins (IL-15 and IL-21) to help them work better. It might be an option for adults with advanced solid tumors, especially liver cancer, that have not responded to standard treatments.
