Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old and willing to have chemotherapy and radiation before surgery.
  • Your tumor is a type of colon cancer called adenocarcinoma, located at least 12 cm from the anus, and it is not the type that is highly unstable (MSS/MSI-L and pMMR).
  • Your cancer is stage II or III (cT3-4N0-2M0) and has not spread to other organs.
  • You are generally in good health (ECOG score 0 or 1) and have no serious other medical conditions.
  • Your blood counts, liver and kidney function, and thyroid levels are within safe ranges.
  • You have not had prior cancer treatment, immunotherapy, or radiation to the abdomen.
