Who can take part
- Aged 18 to 75 years old
- Diagnosed with rectal adenocarcinoma that is MSS/pMMR (a specific type of cancer) and located within 10 cm of the anus
- Tumor stage is T3-4/N+ (locally advanced) and has not spread to other parts of the body
- You are in reasonably good health (Karnofsky score of 70 or higher) and have not had prior cancer treatment or immunotherapy
- No other cancer in the past 5 years, no serious heart, kidney, or liver problems, and no active autoimmune disease or infections
