Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- Your foot ulcer is between 0.7 cm² and 5 cm² in size (about the size of a dime to a quarter) after cleaning.
- The ulcer has been present for at least 4 weeks but not longer than 1 year.
- The ulcer is not infected, and you do not see bone or tendon in the wound.
- You have good blood flow to your foot, as shown by tests like ABI (between 0.7 and 1.3) or other recent vascular assessments.
- You are willing to attend weekly study visits and use a special offloading device (like a boot or cast) to protect the ulcer.
