Neurofeedback for diabetic nerve pain

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 82 years old.
  • You have either type 1 diabetes (diagnosed at least 5 years ago) or type 2 diabetes.
  • You have painful nerve damage (DPN) caused by your diabetes, and the pain has been at least a 4 out of 10 on most days for the past 3 months.
  • Your nerve pain medicines have not changed in the last month (extra acetaminophen/paracetamol is okay).
  • You do not have other major nerve problems (like from chemotherapy, alcohol abuse, or vitamin deficiency), severe psychiatric illness, blindness, or use more than 20 mg of morphine per day.
