Who can take part
- Your thyroid nodule must be proven non-cancerous (by a biopsy or after surgery).
- The nodule must be at least 4 cm across (size of a walnut or bigger).
- You must have symptoms, cosmetic concerns, or worry from the nodule that make you want treatment.
- You must choose either surgery or staged thermal ablation (you cannot be undecided).
