  • Infants diagnosed with single ventricle congenital heart disease
  • Baby has had the first heart surgery (stage 1 palliation) but not the second (stage 2 palliation)
  • Baby was 30 days old or younger at the time of the first surgery
  • Baby is younger than 6 months old when starting the study
  • The doctor has already decided to give digoxin through a feeding tube or by mouth
  • Parent or legal guardian agrees to the study and signs a consent form
