Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You have a spinal cord injury at the C5-C6 level causing complete motor paralysis (ASIA A or B).
  • Your injury happened more than 6 months ago and your condition is stable.
  • You do not have other nervous system conditions, severe joint stiffness, or severe spasticity in your arm.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have a pacemaker or similar implanted device.
  • You have no history of drug or alcohol abuse and no active psychiatric illness.
