- You have been diagnosed with phenylketonuria (PKU).
- You are 4 years old or older.
- You have not taken pegvaliase (a PKU drug) in the last 4 weeks.
- You have not taken sepiapterin (another PKU drug) in the last 2 weeks.
- You are willing to follow a stable diet and come for regular check-ups.
- You weigh at least 12.5 kg (about 28 pounds).
