- You are between 18 and 55 years old.
- You have PKU caused by a specific gene change (PAH) and current treatments are not working well enough.
- You have tried or cannot take certain PKU medications (Kuvan or Palynziq) and have been off them for at least 28 days.

- You agree to avoid alcohol for a long period (from 30 days before treatment to 52 weeks after).
