Testing PL54 injection for adults with PKU

Phenylketonuria (PKU)

This study tests a new injection called PL54 to see if it is safe and tolerable for adults with phenylketonuria (PKU), a condition where the body cannot break down an amino acid called phenylalanine. Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with PKU and have high phenylalanine levels in your blood.
  • You are able to keep your diet stable from 3 days before screening until the end of the study.
  • You have not used any PKU medication or injectable medicines containing PEG in the past 2 to 3 weeks.
  • You have not used Pegvaliase (PALYNZIQ®) or any gene therapy for PKU before.
  • You do not have serious health conditions like heart, liver, or immune system problems, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
