Algae bone graft for gum disease bone defects
Part of Mouth & dental clinical trials.
This study tests a new bone graft material made from algae, used with a collagen membrane, to help repair bone damage caused by gum disease. It might be an option if you have a deep pocket in the bone around a tooth and are healthy enough for the procedure.

This trial tests if using a tooth that is removed (like a wisdom tooth) to fill deep gum pockets works as well as using a piece of your own bone. It may help rebuild the bone around a damaged tooth.
This trial tests a new treatment for deep gum disease using a synthetic bone graft and a special gel to help rebuild bone around your teeth. It is for people with stage III gum disease who have not had gum treatment in the past six months.
This trial tests a new injectable treatment (Alb-PRF) made from your own blood to help heal deep gum and bone defects caused by advanced gum disease. It may offer a less invasive way to repair bone loss around teeth.
This trial tests a bone substitute material to help repair gum defects between the roots of back teeth (molars) that have not healed with standard deep cleaning. If you have a single area of gum bone loss between the roots, this surgery might help regenerate the bone.
This trial tests whether a graft made from your own extracted tooth works as well as a traditional bone graft, both combined with a special enamel protein, to repair bone loss from gum disease.
This trial tests two different bone-filling materials combined with a gum graft to repair deep pockets in your gums caused by gum disease. The goal is to help your gums heal and regain support around your teeth.
