Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You are scheduled for a planned lung surgery using small incisions (keyhole surgery).
  • The surgery must remove a specific part of the lung (lobectomy or segmentectomy).
  • Your surgery cannot be due to a traumatic injury.
  • You must not already be in the hospital for another medical reason.
  • You must give written permission before your surgery.
