Who can take part

  • Your baby should be born between 30 and 37 weeks of pregnancy.
  • Your baby must be getting non-invasive breathing support (like a CPAP mask or nasal prongs).
  • Your baby must not have any existing nose injury from the breathing support or from a breathing tube.
  • Your baby must not have any nose or upper airway problems (like a blocked or misshapen nose).
  • Your baby must not have serious birth defects or life-threatening conditions.
