- You must be 18 years or older.
- You are currently using oxygen and your oxygen level is between 88% and 100%.
- When you breathe regular air (no extra oxygen), your oxygen level drops below 92%.
- You must not have false nails or nail polish that can affect the oxygen sensor.
- You cannot have severe anemia (very low red blood cells).
- The amount of oxygen you need must be 6 liters per minute or less.
