Who can take part

  • You are currently taking warfarin (a blood thinner).
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have not taken any other blood thinner like heparin in the last 7 days.
  • You do not have or are not suspected of having antiphospholipid syndrome.
  • You are not pregnant and have not been pregnant in the past year.
  • You do not have HIV/AIDS, hepatitis A, B, or C, tuberculosis, a tropical disease, or use intravenous drugs.
