  • You have active cancer (diagnosed or treated in the last 6 months).
  • You have a new blood clot in your leg or lungs (within the last 28 days).
  • Your platelet count is below 75,000 (before any platelet transfusions).
  • You are not currently bleeding and have not had a major bleed in the past year.
  • You do not have brain tumors or certain cancers (like leukemia, stomach, or bladder).
  • You are 18 or older and can swallow pills.
