High dose aflibercept for diabetic macular edema after vitrectomy

Diabetic Macular Edema (DME)

Treatments studied

Part of Eyes & vision, Heart & circulation, Hormones & metabolism, Immune system & allergy clinical trials.

This trial tests a high-dose version of the drug aflibercept (given as an eye injection) for people with diabetic macular edema who have previously had a vitrectomy surgery. The goal is to see if this higher dose can help reduce swelling and improve vision.
