Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread or cannot be removed.
- You have received no more than two prior chemotherapy treatments for metastatic disease (hormone therapy doesn't count).
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured by scans.
- You are physically active (able to do light work or be up and about) with an ECOG score of 0 or 1.
- You have adequate bone marrow, liver, kidney, and blood clotting function.
