Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
  • Your breast cancer must be HER2-positive (a test shows high levels of the HER2 protein).
  • The cancer must be advanced, recurrent, or has spread and cannot be removed by surgery.
  • You have had no more than 2 prior chemotherapy treatments for this stage of cancer.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
  • You are generally well enough to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1).
