Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • A large blood vessel in the front part of your brain is blocked by a clot.
  • Your stroke symptoms are moderate to severe (stroke severity score 6 to 25).
  • You had little or no disability before this stroke.
  • Treatment can start within 24 hours of the first symptoms or when you were last seen healthy.
  • You (or your legal representative) agree to join and sign a consent form.
